Living in modern society, many things are about efficiency, and we must always use the day to the fullest. Run at 5 o'clock in the morning, go to work at 8 o'clock, work lunch at noon, even if you are lucky enough not to work overtime, maybe you still have a week of yoga or language courses after leaving the company; you are racing against time every night. Plan your own ideals for the future. It is important to move towards your goal, but knowing how to relax can sometimes be more effective. Stop and think about it. Sit down and sit down in the living room for the last time, and do not care about the goal. How long has it been because of what you like?

Ubud, in the heart of Bali, has such a place - Lazy Cats Cafe. Pushing open the black iron gate at the entrance, it is a high-visibility, translucent, but somewhat mottled space. Retro furniture with a large golden mirror mirror, green plants are located in every corner, guests quietly nest in their own seats, sometimes casually talk a few words; such a relaxed atmosphere, if not the coffee and A variety of meals on the table, I thought I accidentally walked into the living room of an artist.

Both founders Agi and Tatjana have backgrounds related to interior design. More than a year ago, they discovered this abandoned space. At that time, there was no roof. The wooden frame of the house was also damaged. The walls and floors were affected by the humidity for a long time. They grew furry moss. The seemingly useless space is particularly romantic in their eyes. "It's a perfect semi-finished product, even if we pay the same attention in other spaces, the weathered atmosphere can't be copied," Agi shared. In their view, the semi-open layout is similar to the living room and balcony configuration in the home space, both indoors and outdoors; especially the long balcony, the brightest illumination without the need for lights during the day. In addition to the kitchen and bar, all the furniture, lamps and cabinets here are personally managed by Tatjana, selected from the market or second-hand stores, and complement the space nostalgic atmosphere.

Since the living room is used as a thought, "relaxation" will become a style for them. Speaking of the reason for the naming, "After a few hours of brainstorming, we decided to call this place "Lazy Cats." Everything we live in is about productivity and speed, from the goal of work to the busy vacation when going on vacation. - Even if the pressure on the holiday is still going on," Agi replied. Therefore, Lazy Cats Cafe wants every visitor to forget the busy life on weekdays and simply enjoy the good times. "This is what all people who work hard for life deserve." Agi stressed. Not only do you serve meals and drinks, but occasionally art exhibitions, themed night parties or lazy brunch parties, in order to provide a place where people can communicate with each other.

"We hope that this place can be a place for everyone to relax and be comfortable - a small living room that extends from life. The key is to relax and be lazy. (laugh). Being lazy does not mean Do nothing, but return your time to yourself. Don't do anything that makes you feel uneasy or anxious. Learning to let your heart and mind take a vacation is actually an art. After all, no matter who we are, we Individuals deserve to be lazy in a busy life pace." - Agi

It is worth mentioning that Lazy Cats Cafe's menu is currently vegan. This is not a slogan from a certain kind of doctrine, just because most of the team behind it does not eat meat; plus Ubud is a city known for its health and green activities, such a plan is more obvious in the early days. But Agi also mentioned that they don't want to take vegetarianism too seriously, just like the purpose of the store, everything follows the individual wishes of everyone. Therefore, even if it is a whole vegetable food list, it does not mean that it will be in the future. With the business track, the customer group has an expanded orientation, and they will slowly start to develop meals suitable for different tastes of customers.

When it comes to "lazyness", no matter which city is still a negative meaning, in this space in Bali, it is intended to dedicate time to yourself, learn to give yourself time to rest, and abandon daily daily copying. Rules, let the thoughts swim freely. In fact, occasionally emptying and lazy, it can also be a power reserve for the next life, it can also be a very fashionable thing.
